Yes treatment of choice is laparoscopic cholecystectomy only. I don't know why he suggested open surgery. You can visit a good laparoscopic surgery centre in your town and get it removed laparoscopiclly.

Can a Fistula be treated by Ayurvedic. I have a fistula without any noticeable external and internal opening. MRI done 3 months ago.

M.S. (Ayurveda), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Usually surgery is advised for anal fistula. But it is not a good choice for the reason of recurrence and other complications like stool incontinence etc. However fistula can be completely treated by Graded Ksharsutra treatment. Clinical trials conducted by Indian council of Medical Research (ICMR) at AIIMS New Delhi and PGI Chandigarh have confirmed that Ksharsutra treatment is more convenient and more effective than Surgery in patients suffering from Anal Fistula. In this treatment; Ksharsutra - a medicated thread I splaced in Fistula tract. Medicine released from Ksjarsutra, debrides the fistula tract and induces healing. This medicine works for 5-7 days so old Ksharsutra needs to be changed with a new one. No. Of Ksharsutra changes required for complete healing of Fistula depends on depth, direction and branching pattern of Fistula. It is observed that Fistula heals @ 0.5 to 1 cm per sitting i.e. To say a fistula tract of 3 cm length usually requires 4-5 Ksharsutra changes. No hospitalization or bed rest is required in this treatment. For further support and appointment you may contact reception at Sushruta Ano Rectal Institute.

Raising the head of your bed six to eight inches can help gravity keep gastric acid down in your stomach. Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, Swimming, gymming, walking etc. This is for long term results But for now to bring your digestive system back on track you need to take medicines. For that I need more details, you can consult me.

Hi, I am suffering from ameobisis for few week. And feeling energy level lose and sometimes deep yellowish urine.
Take plenty of water and ors solution, get blood test for anemia, urine test due to infection, drinking only clear liquids such as water, juice, tea and oral rehydrating or electrolyte solutions. It is important to drink frequently so that dehydration is avoided. Drinking small amounts at frequent intervals is better accepted in cases of nausea. Avoid solids because they can cause cramps. Light soups, toast, rice and eggs are good foods to eat during recovery. Ensuring a safe drinking water supply by boiling or filtering water is usually effective for prevention. Chlorine is not effective in killing the parasite. Avoid unsanitary water supplies. Wash hands with soap and warm water after going to the toilet and before eating or preparing food. Proper food storage and preventing its contamination with faeces, flies, and contaminated water is also important.
