It could be due to stress that you face the issues. Try to keep your thoughts away from the issues, go for walks, listen to some music, try and meditate for a few minutes everyday. Basically try to stay relaxed and keep your thoughts away from unwanted issues.

I lost somebody last year and since then feel very depressed and prefer keeping to myself all the time please help me...
It is normal to feel low after losing a close one. But continuing to feel depressed will not help you in any manner. You can keep the person alive in your thoughts and heart always, try and do some charitable act in their name or anything else you feel they liked and would appreciate you doing. This should help you to look forward to life and also give you some motivation.

I am feeling difficult in remembering names, memories and other activities. I am feeling annoyed with my brain. I want myself to be as normal. How to notice a problem with my brain?

MS - Counselling and Psychotherapy, MPHIL
Psychologist, Mumbai
For helping with memory, repeating helps. Repeat the names you wish to remember. Have a task list written down for the activities that you wish to do. Learn to be relaxed. Don't stress over and over that you have a memory issue. If you feel it's severe go to a doctor and get a thorough check up done.

I am 23 years old. Sometimes my brain think bad things automatically. I cant control it. what should I do?
It is normal for the brain to have thoughts. The only way to control it is to ignore the thought and understand it is just a thought and has no greater power on your mind and self and in the bigger scheme of things. Stay focused on the present and at the activity on hand, not on the thought which like you yourself said is bad.

I could not concentrate on my studies. Is it due to lack of sound sleep or due to extended hours of chatting in watsapp n facebook.

I could not concentrate on my studies. Is it due to lack of sound sleep or due to extended hours of chatting in watsa...
It is due to both factors that you mentioned. Taking care of your body needs is as important as social media and friends. Have a routine and stick to it. Don't keep chatting till late night and avoid sleep. Go to bed at a decent hour and have about 7 hours of sound sleep everyday. Establish a time table for your studies and stick to it. You must have time for friends and entertainment but don't overdo anything.

Why my friend fears from god, she think the god punish him. Please tell the solution.

MS - Counselling and Psychotherapy, MPHIL
Psychologist, Mumbai
Devotion or bhakti as we call it, is based on love, not fear. Where there is love there is god. Tell your friend not to fear god but to love him. God will never punish only guide. Like the bhagavad gita tells us" lord krishna who is dwelling in everybody's heart, acts as a best wishing friend and purifies the devotee who constantly engages in hearing him" tell your friend that when she says she is scared of god, essentially she is scared of her own self, as god is within every one of us. She need not be afraid of her most trusted friend and guide. Ofcourse if your friend has any questions or wants to talk about this at length she can always talk to someone who is open to this discussion or consult a counsellor and seek help.
