I am 20 years old. I think I have from 1 and a half year Chronic fissure doctor of shanti mukund hospital karkardoma, said by medicine it will heal but after 5 to 6 days it will come again and this process will continue so it need to operation. I have no problem with operation but if it is possible to be okay without operation then please tell me. Or even after operation, is there any guarantee that it will not happen again? What is the cost of operation of your different doctors? And should I go for operation or not?
If one has acute fissure in ano with severe pain while passing motion, the best results are by the procedure under general anesthesia.

Hi, you should go with a pattern of small meals and you can have rice, finely cooked vegetables, soya milk if tolerated, fruits like skin peeled apple/ stewed apple without skin, banana/ cooked raw banana, pulses should be cooked properly and intake depends on tolerance, curd/buttermilk and other fermented milk products. Avoid fibre rich foods like wheat, fruits with skin, roots, nuts, seasoned foods/masalas/chilli, milk, legumes and beans, red meat, oily and fatty foods, caffeinated beverages, carbonated beverages, alcohol. Lean meat, skin out chicken, egg white intake should be in small quantities and discontinue to eat if not tolerated. Drink enough amount of water.

Hi Doctor I am 32 years old and suffering from acidity and gastric problem from last 1 years taken lot of medicine from different firm like Homeopathic n ayurvedic but den to not completely satisfied, now I days I feel very much tired to do workout as well n some time feel dizziness while doing workout.
Hi, In order to overcome gastritis you need to include banana, raw cooked banana, stewed apple, curd, buttermilk, white rice, oats, clear veg soups, soya milk, fully cooked vegetables. Avoid milk, legumes and beans, citrus fruits (lemon/oranges) grapes, butter, cheese, oily/fatty foods, strong flavoured foods consisting of masala/chilli, pickles, raw vegetables, red meat and other meat products, caffeinated beverages like coffee and tea, carbonated beverages and alcohol as they might aggravate the condition of gastritis. If you are tolerating non-vegetarian food include fish (trout/sardine/tuna/salmon in stewed/baked), lean meat, skin out chicken in small quantities. Stay hydrated all the time. To avoid dizziness and weakness take almonds (skin peeled), walnut, dry dates (nut paste mixed with water as intact nut may create gastric irritation, paneer, fully cooked and mashed sprouts.

Dear lybrateuser, - To keep weight under control restrict the calorie intake of refined carbohydrates like rice, chapati, also nonveg, have one piece a day, have more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas & nuts which are fibre containing foods & provide less calories & keep you full - chew your food well, have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals, have meals on time, do not skip meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, raise the pillow end by 4-6 inches at nighttime for proper digestion - avoid deep fried, processed & junk food - have at least 7-8 glasses of water per day - take an antacid like gelusil if gas & bloating problem is there - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, yoga & deep breathing to reduce weight, for proper digestion & to keep fit - take medication to normalise thyroid hormone levels which will improve digestion & also help in controlling weight.
Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to hemorrhoids or a fissure in ano - avoid constipation & straining at stools - have more of fibre containing foods like vegetables & fruits, whole grains, legumes, pulses, nuts, seeds - avoid spicy & fried foods - have more of fluids including 7-8 glasses of water per day - apply 2% lox gel before & after defecation.

You can help her by the following- 1. ENO salt in water, as and when required. It is safe. But too much of anything is bad. 2. She should avoid any fried stuff, namkrens, sweets, spicy food. 3. Not to go to bed within 2.5 hours of consuming any food. 4. Not to drink too much water after meals. 5. Should consume a little food at a time. She can take meals every 2-3 hours if she feels hungry. 6. She can consult if she does not improve after all these measures. She might need medication for a continuous period of time. All the best!

Since you are an health care provider your self. You also seem to have knowledge about your disease. If you are not getting relief for 4 years then you must meet a qualified doctor who have good experience. To me it looks like IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) like ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s diseases and not simple IBS that is irritable bowel syndrom. You need to take different medicine when you have ulcer in colon. please take proper consultation.
