Hi, stop eating junk and processed food. Do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like sattu with milk, sprouts, pulses, milk and milk products etc. Peanut butter is another yummy remedy for gain weight. Take small and frequent meals. Heĺlo, you should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 30 minutes daily. Take 1 glass lukewarm water with half lemon in the morning. Include more vegetable and fruits in your diet. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at the night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food. Its always good to use oil within the limit for one's body type. Also the type of oil to be chosen depends on whether you want to loose or gain weight. As per your body statistics I think you need to gain weight. If so, its better to use home made ghee or pure ghee for your food. Also the oil that you mentioned is ok. But avoid deep fried food in that oil. Double refined oil can be used in such cases.

Ideally to know whether a person is a diabetic or not blood sugar levels have to be checked after 12 hours of fasting (preferably in the morning) that is called as fasting sugar levels and after 2 hours of meal that is called as PP. If the sugar levels in these 2 tests are above normal then there are chances that a person is diabetic. Sugar levels checked anytime of the day are random and doesn't give the exact picture to diagnose a diabetic patient.

Mr. lybrate-user, ESR tends to go up whenever there is a chronic (long term) ailment is going on. It is a parameter seen to go up in almost every chronic illness. There is no specific remedy to reduce ESR. However, the chronic illness present, is well controlled then ESR reduces. Also known as Posterior Prolapse, Rectocele involves a weakening of the walls between vagina and rectum, thereby, causing the rectal wall to swell and protrude into the space of the vagina. This bulging is a common, but temporary problem that arises after childbirth. In severe cases, the swollen tissues may extend out of the vaginal opening and usually cause more discomfort than pain.

What are the most common causes for Rectocele?

  1. An upright posture places a lot of weight on the pelvic region, which is probably the most important cause for Rectocele or Posterior Prolapse.
  2. Constipation is also a very valid reason for Rectocele because it causes straining of the connective tissues that separate the vagina and the rectum.
  3. Constant heavy lifting and indiscriminate increase of body weight may also put a lot of pressure on the pelvic region that could ultimately lead to weakening of rectal and vaginal tissues.
  4. Weakening of vaginal passageway due to pregnancy and childbirth is also a common reason for Rectocele development.
  5. Chances of developing Posterior Prolapse increases with age.

Physiological problems posed due to Rectocele

  1. Passage of bowel becomes difficult and may sometimes require pressure on the vaginal bulge.
  2. The protrusion of tissue takes place from your vaginal opening, when you strain while passing bowel. This usually happens in people with constipation.
  3. This disorder may also induce a sensation that the bowel tract has not been fully emptied even after passing stool.
