The diagnosis of breast problems depends on the specific problem and location. The various tests include mammography, CT scan, X-ray, biopsy and CBE (clinical breast examination).
HOW IS BREAST PROBLEMS TREATED?
Treatment of breast problems is done based on the underlying cause of the problem. Breast infections can be treated with antibiotic medication. Abscesses in the breast need to be drained out. Cancerous growth in the breast needs to be removed and treated through chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
