Sometimes, people have a very small mouth that the teeth get misaligned and in some cases, the upper and the lower jaws are not of the same size causing some malformation of the teeth. In most cases, crooked teeth are a condition that is inherited just as the colour of the eyes. Early loss of baby tooth can also cause the other teeth to grow crooked. Improper use of dental restorations such as crowns and fillings, gingivitis infection, injury to the jaw or other common dental problems such as thumb sucking and tongue thrusting in children can all cause crooked teeth.
