You can apply these home remedies for relief: • Take 1/2 piece of ginger, crush it and squze its juice and mix it with one teaspoon of honey and take 1/2 spoon of this mixture 2 times in a day. • Take 4 - 5 tulsi leaves and 1/2 piece of ginger and 1 glass of water mix both of them in water and boil it till half glass of water remain in the container then drink it by add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. • Avoid cold water, ice creams, and pickle. • Take strepsils or sualiin (hamdard pharma) 1 tablet 3 times per day or slowly suck a piece of mulethi. • Doing gargles with lukewarm water it will reduce your pain. * Cover your body properly by the layers of cloths and make it warm. I don't know I usually gets fits dnt knw why it's might be because of late night wake or tension after fits my headache usually happens a lot.

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Vadodara
Do you mean convulsions by saying fits??.. If yes then i will suggest homoeopathic treatment... But convulsion is a chronic and a very difficult to treat condition so better consult with full details and preparation to take treatment for long time... Minimum 3 years... But it is assured that if good medicine is selected then it will take care of fits and headache both..

I am 34 years male and I have tingling, burning sensation in my body along with weakness and numbness especially in hands and legs. This is there since December 4, 2016. How much should I be worried? I had done few tests per the physician including blood sugar, TSH, Uric acid, Vitamins-D and B12. My fasting BS is 97 mg/dl, HbA1c is 5.90, Total T3 is 0.96, Total T4 is 10.20, Calcium is 8.80, Cholesterol is 161 mg. DL, Urea is 21.4, Uric acid is 5.80, TSH is 5.56, and Vitamin-D level (D-25 Hydroxy) is 15.34. Kindly let me know what kind of dietary habits I need to follow and what basically should be a healthy lifestyle here in this case. Now, I am having Jneuron (Methylcobalamin Pregabalin), faster (herbal extracts with vitamins, minerals etc.) tablets along with D-rise (this one is once a week). The weakness, numbness seem to be little reduced, but it still persists to some extent along with transient tinglings. I have to also mention that I somehow did not follow a proper lifestyle for last few months like waking up late in afternoon, empty stomach for a long time, delayed meals, food irregularities, less veggies, too much tea etc. Kindly suggest, if I need to be concerned and any further tests if required to rule out some larger possibilities. Thank you.

Hi Anam Numbness of your hands could be related to thyroid problem. There might also be deficiency of vitamin B-12. You should start exercising daily for 30 minutes. simple aerobics will be enough. Start taking calcium, vitamin-D and Vitamin B-12 supplements. One tablet of calcium daily and One for Vitamin B-12 daily For vit.-D take cholecalciferol sachet weekly for 6 weeks. This solution is for now but it wont be permanent. For a permanent solution your thyroid problem needs to be treated and that is POSSIBLE with HOMOEOPATHIC medicines; you will be cured and there wont be any need of taking thyronorm. Your migraine will also get cured. For this a proper consultation is required so that your case can be analysed and treatment given accordingly. For this you can consult any good homoeopath or me as you are in Delhi only. Otherwise you can make good use of Lybrate.

My mother is 78 years old, she is having arthritis, BP and her back is bent. She is having numbness in her hand.
Change her diet to avoid all foods that cause acidity and which are difficult to digest. Give her 25 ml of edible coconut oil like a medicine daily and increase Cows ghee in diet. These will help in a great way. Encourage her to do simple stretching exercises while lying down on bed to release the strain of bent back.

I am suffering from Neurofibromatosis about 20 years. It's treatment is possible or not.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
There is no known treatment or cure for neurofibromatosis. However, growths can usually be removed surgically or reduced with radiation therapy. When growths are close to a nerve, surgery often requires removing the nerve as well.

Climbing up and down stairs requires enormous efforts by the body and the heart needs to pump more blood to your limbs to make them work. It is a normal phenomenon and is exaggerated in old age. I would advise you not to use stairs too much. Drunk lot of fluids and keep yourself hydrated. Move your ankles and feet before you get up from during our lying position, in order to pull back blood from your lower limbs to your heart. Regards.

I have been suffering from Parkinson's disease for the last two years and am being treated with levodopa (Dopamine) (Syndopa tablets, Ropark and Entacom. This makes me very sleepy and confused and has been hampering by work (I am a research scientist now 70 years old but till the Parkinson's hit me very active academically). I feel depressed all the time. What should I do?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Neurologist,
I have been suffering from Parkinson's disease for the last two years and am being treated with levodopa (Dopamine) (...
Parkinson's disease-KAMPAVATA (A Neurological Disorder) Parkinson's disease is a neurological disease, or brain disorder, that leads to progressive difficulty with balance and coordination. In people who have Parkinson's disease, nerve cells in a region of the brain known as the substantia nigra become damaged or die. These cells are important because they produce the chemical dopamine, which helps to coordinate body movement-basal ganglia. When dopamine-producing cells degenerate/die, the areas in the brain that control movement can no longer function properly, and symptoms of Parkinson's disease eventually develop. Parkinson? S Disease Prevalence:- Parkinson's disease can affect anyone, but it most often occurs in people who are over the age of 50. Only 15 percent of Parkinson's disease patients are diagnosed before they are 50 years old. The prevalence of Parkinson's disease is nearly the same in both men and women, and recovery rate is more in men. People with a family history of Parkinson's may have a higher risk of developing the disease, but Parkinson's disease is rarely attributed to genetics alone. Parkinson's Disease Symptoms Symptoms of Parkinson's disease usually develop after about 80 percent of the brain's dopamine-producing cells are lost. The Main symptoms of Parkinson's disease include? Tremors (Kampam)- Tremulousness (uncontrolled shaking or trembling) of the hands, arms, legs, face, body is often one of the first indicators of Parkinson's disease? Rigidity. Profound stiffness or an inability to easily move the arms, legs, and trunk, pain and stiffness on neck muscles is another hallmark of Parkinson's? Bradykinesia:- describes the unnaturally slow movements that are characteristic of people with Parkinson's disease? Poor balance- Parkinson's disease affects balance, leading to difficulty walking and impaired coordination. The symptoms of Parkinson's are generally mild at first, but become more severe over time, until they eventually interfere with your daily routine. This is usually the point when treatment is recommended. The Outlook for People with Parkinson's disease Parkinson's disease is a chronic, progressive condition, which means it is a lifelong disease that worsens over time when it is not treated properly. Each individual's situation is different, but in general, the first symptoms of Parkinson's disease usually don't require treatment and may be restricted to one area or one side of the body. Movement of symptoms to the other side of the body? Tremors that become more pronounced and interfere with activities? Bradykinesia, or slow movement, that becomes disabling? Difficulty with hand writing? Impaired swallowing and chewing? Speech that becomes monotone? Poor balance and repeated falls? Slow, shuffling gait (manner of walking? Stooped posture? Facial expressions that become stiff and blank? Chronic constipation? Poor bladder control? Sleep disturbances This progression is gradual in most people, but it may happen faster in some than others. Understandably, stress caused by the progression of the disease can lead to anxiety and depression. Ayurveda Treatment: There is cure for Parkinson's disease with Ayurveda treatment, With Ayurveda medicines and treatments we can relieve symptoms, slow down the progression and then we can completely arrest further degeneration of the of the cells, thereby we can completely control and cure the disease. If you are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, it is important to work closely with your medical team, so your medications can be regularly adjusted to help you remain as functional as possible for as long as possible. As far as Parkinson's disease is concerned this is a brain related issue, so will surely effect the mind; so I recommend 49% treatment to patients and 51% treatment to family members.
