Looks like you have a recurrent uveitis for the last 7 years. A thourough systemic workup is a must for a confirmed diagnosis. If vision is so much affected and not responding to treatment then nowadays some patients are being given immuno-suppresive drugs. It is imperative that you consult a uvea specialist (an ophthalmologist who has specialized in the field of uvea).

Only giving anti vegf injection does not cure macular edema. One needs to find out the cause behind it and that should be targeted. Also nepafenac is not needed after anti vegf injections. Hi ,
Intermediate uveitis can get relieved sometimes by prednisolone tablets and some more medicines added together. In some individuals, it may need next group of medicines called immunosuppressants, either as injection into eye or simply tablets taken orally. You will need regular followup with your eye surgeon. Recurrences are possible, but if you get them treated quickly, major longterm sequelae can be avoided.

If you have been prescribed tacrolimus and its causing a lot of burning with irritation, it might be a good idea to use a lubricant eye drop copiously. Tacrolimus is known to cause burning, irritation an...more
