More than 2 antihypertensive are needed in many pts to control blood pressure, but olmax am and cinod t belong to same group of drugs so they should not be taken together. Give her any one medicine and if blood pressure is not controlled with that means bp is more than 140/90 mmhg then consult any local physician for second antihypertensive.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
BP 160/80 mm Hg is high, ideally it should be around 120 to 130/ 70 to 80 mm Hg. You may have to increase the dose of Olmesartan to 40 mg a day.
With HbA1c% 6% diabetes seems to be well controlled. Thanks

Meditation. Yoga. Exercise. Salt less than 2g/ day. Blood lipids -- take statins if high. Avoid junk food. Plenty of vegetables and fruit. Take medicines regularly. Keep in touch with your doctor and you will be fine.

As you said your physical activity is nil. Try to improve that first. Plus you need to control your stress and anxiety. Healthy diet low in salt, fat, simple carbohydrate and rich in fibres, vegetables along with daily exercise may help to control your bp.
