Vomisafe Syrup helps in treating insomnia, morning sickness in pregnant women, allergic reactions and other conditions. This syrup works by blocking histamine at H1 receptors.
On using Vomisafe Syrup you may experience side effects such as upset stomach, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, drying of mouth/nose and throat may occur. You may experience adverse reactions such as hallucinations, nervousness, itchiness, swelling, rapid or irregular heartbeat, difficulty urinating, irritability and seizures. Should your allergic reactions persist or become more severe over time seek medical help immediately.
Before using this medication inform your doctor if: you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Vomisafe Syrup, you are taking any other medications particularly sodium oxybate, you have any other allergies, you have asthma, you have lung diseases, difficulty in breathing, you have diabetes, heart diseases, ulcers, sleep apnea or high blood pressure, you are pregnant or are nursing a baby.
The dosage for Vomisafe Syrup is determined by the doctor based on your age, medical history and current condition. The usual dose in adults diagnosed with insomnia is 25 mg, to be taken orally once daily, half an hour before bedtime. Usually, duration of therapy is 2 weeks.
