Trigan D Tablet

This medication is used for the treatment of a certain type of intestinal problem called irritable bowels syndrome. It reduces the symptoms of intestinal and stomach cramping. The tablet works by slowing down the natural movements of the gut and relaxes the stomach and intestine muscles.

This medication must not be used in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma, enlarged prostate, urination problems, high blood pressure, nervous system problems, myasthenia gravis, liver, heart, thyroid, intestinal or kidney problems.

This medicine can cause a range of side effects such as dizziness, weakness, dry eyes, blurred vision, dry mouth and abdominal bloating, etc. Your doctor may direct you to start this medication at a low dose and gradually increase your dose to decrease the risk of side effects.

The medication is a drug that treats smooth muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract which occurs due to irritable bowel syndrome. It blocks the acetylcholine receptors present on the smooth muscles thereby causing the muscles to relax. It also selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
