Hello sir. Both the combination are effective, except that tenofavir alafinamide salt has purportedly more more bone and renal safety profiles. However you are strongly advised not to self medicate please and consult a doctor of your choice to get proper guidance. Thanks.

Good evening lybrate-user.
The drugs you have mentioned that are used as pep or post exposure prophylaxis are currently outdated. As the drug efavirenz 600 you have mentioned has been the essential first line drug in hiv infected for past 20 years. Recently the naco (national aids control organisation) has changed the first line medicine in view of probable resistance to all nrti drugs which includes efavirenz too, even in newly infected because of the possibility of mutations that might hav...more

It seems there is somebody trying to misguide u. And this is happening a lot. Some doctors are charging between 20000 to 50000 for pep. There is no role of q10 and kumrin.
If risk is minimal even raltegravir is not required.
You are taken for a ride.
Please take private consult with audio video chat and then I can guide you properly and explain you what is to be done.

Hello.
The test lab did was most likely 4th gen combo test for hiv 1 and 2.
As its negative at 6 months of exposure you are negative for hiv. (at 90 days after suspected exposure the seroconversion combo test is conclusive). The same is valid for other stis.
28 days of pep are enough. No need for any other tests please. Thanks. Have a good day.

Hello sir. Pep given to you is good. Once you finish your pep please take 4 th gen combo test. No other test is needed for hiv at this time. Another test you can do at 45 days of exposure. However you need to test for other stis.
Please don't do any tests on your own or take treatment on your own. Consult any Dr. you wish for right advice. Thanks.
