Dear sir
the symptoms are common with your medication. However, please speak to your treating physician about whether a reduction of the dose can be done in your case so that the side effects may be lesser.

Hi Altaf
There are lot other medicines in allopathy which can help as an adjuvant or can substitute syndopa. There are other options like DBS in case of resistant cases. it's in your best interest if you consult some good neurology centre or department of neurology in a medical college. Remember there are significant number of cases which are resistant to any intervention which are considered to be of poor prognosis, whose likelihood increases as the age advances.

As per standard protocols, there needs to at least 5 years of seizure free period before tapering and stopping medications. Newer protocols followed by some doctors believe in stopping medications even if there is 1 year of seizure free interval. It is best that you consult with your neurologist and let him decide on what is best for you.
