Atenolol is an old content with many side effects. Starpress (metoprolol) is a new improved conntent with less side effects compare to atenolol.
Better take homoeopathic treatment. It may even help to stop all the medicines.

You can very well take metoprol xl 25 mg in place of the starpress xl 25 mg. As both are the same medicine, metoprolol.

Your pulse rate of 122 is the upper limit of normal pregnant women. Kindly recheck at different occasion before starting the medicine. As metoprolol is category c drug. Which means no studies in human or animal done sufficiently to know its effect on pregnant women.

dry mouth is a side-effect of Starpress xl which is metoprolol and it is not going to harm you. But it is a very good medicine for your heart, so should continue your medicine, if it bothers you too much you can ask your doctor to change the XL version to a simple version. So nothing to panic or worry.

Hi,
Welcome.
Your bp readings are in the normal range but I recommend you to take Kimet XL in the morning in place of night.
Thanks

Hello there. Supermet XL and stamlo are both anti hypertensives. But they are different. One is a beta blocker and the other is a calcium channel blocker. If you have high blood pressure you may have to take it for life time.
