Hello lybrate-user. Hope you are safe. A good neuro-ontological examination is must in your case to find out the exact cause of you pain which can be done by a proper consultation. Looking at your age, it could be a neuralgia pain unrelated to the ear, but we would still need to make sure that your ear is completely dry and non-diaeased. I would suggest you to get a diagnosis first before taking any medicines.

Dear User, it will not be necessary to give it for a year. Once the UTI has subsided, then it can be stopped. However she will have to get a urine routine and culture after 3 months to assess the level of infection. If it has completely reduced, then she can stop taking the medication. However she has to drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a Positive feedback as it helps me with my Practice. Thank you.
