Doctor says for my metastasis prostrate cancer two chemo drugs are available docetaxel and cabazitaxel, but when I search in internet some websites also show Mitoxantrone and Estramustine so why does my doctor don't talk about them. Are they not available or approved in India?

Dear,
There are many drugs available for management of prostate cancer. It is mostly hormone sensitive and is treated by androgen deprivation for which there are many drugs. If these do not work then chemotherapeutic drugs which you are mentioning are tried. Every doctor has his own view. So follow the doctor who is an Established Oncologist.
