Hi.dandruff is basically the superficial (outermost) layer of skin which sheds quickly rather than a period of 30 - 40 days.
Mild dandruff can be treated with a gentle daily shampoo. Your daughter can use adult shampoo little diluted with water. Ask her to wash her hair daily. If it doesn’t work then apply medicated shampoo containing zinc, selenium sulphide and salicylic acid.

Hello, please use novale ct or saliblu shampoo for head bath thrice a week for a month and then as maintenance at least once a week for 2 months. Avoid oiling as fungus thrives in oily scalp. You could oil 1 hr prior to head bath.
