About Rilutor 50Mg Tablet

Rilutor 50Mg Tablet is a medicine for the treatment of a nerve disorder called the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It is used for delaying the process of the said disease and not a complete cure. It does not have the ability to repair or reverse the damages done to the nerves by the disease. It is available in both tablet and liquid variety to be consumed by the patient as per convenience. It also prevents further damage to brain cells and nerves. Studies have proved Rilutor 50Mg Tablet to be beneficial in anxiety problems and depressions in some cases. It prevents harmful glutamate from damaging nerves in the brain.

Side effects of this drug may include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, muscle weakness and trembling, headache, fever, abdominal diseases, pancreatitis etc. Overdose of Rilutor 50Mg Tablet may be harmful to the patient resulting in acute toxic encephalopathy, methemoglobinemia etc.

Some medicines like the ones which affect liver enzymes and that decreases riluzole. Before starting of this medicine consult and share with your physician about existing medications especially amitryptiline, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, rifampin, theophylline etc. Rilutor 50Mg Tablet is edially consumed in empty stomach, but doctors advice is supreme.
