You may need a lower strength or a different retinoid. You can also try to apply it after using a good moisturiser, also moisturise well throughout the day. If the dryness and peeling still persist, its better to consult a dermatologist for personalised advice on which retinoid to use and how.

Hi, use a moisturizer like venusia and sunscreen before going out in sun to help skin heal. Use tretinoin only on normal skin, at night very little amount under doctor's supervision.

Tretinoin can cause dryness, irritation and peeling of skin.

No it doesn't cause white patches... Though it might cause little fairness due to peeling of outer tanned skin.

It can cause secondary darkening of skin if you use tretinoin (in evening) and don't apply sunscreen in the morning and do not take good Sun protection.
