About Proxidom 250Mg Tablet

Proxidom 250Mg Tablet is known to be a pain relieving medicine. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which works by reducing the hormones causing pain and inflammation in the body. by conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, arthritis, tendinitis, gout, bursitis or menstrual cramps.

On using this medicine some side effects like stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, drowsiness, headache may occur. Serious side effects may include easy bruising or bleeding, painful swallowing, ringing in the ears, signs of kidney problems, mood changes, unusual tiredness, swelling of the ankles, feet and hands, unexplained stiff neck, unexplained weight gain and vision changes.

Take this medicine by mouth as instructed by your doctor, usually 2 or 3 times in a day. Remember to not lie down for a minimum of 10 minutes after taking it. To prevent stomach upset, take this drug with milk, food or an antacid.

Seizures tend to be very short-lived and often do not require drug treatment; although, recurrent seizures should be treated with I.V. diazepam; since many of the NSAIDs undergo enterohepatic cycling, multiple doses of charcoal may be needed to reduce the potential for delayed toxicities.

Take this medication exactly as directed; do not increase dose without consulting prescriber. Do not crush tablets or break capsules. Take with food or milk to reduce GI distress. Maintain adequate fluid intake (2-3 L/day of fluids unless instructed to restrict fluid intake).

        • Proxidom 250Mg Tablet and warfarin may cause a slight increase in free warfarin.
        • Proxidom 250Mg Tablet and probenecid may cause increased plasma half-life of naproxen.
        • Proxidom 250Mg Tablet and methotrexate may significantly increase and prolong blood methotrexate concentration, which may be severe or fatal.
      • Interaction with Disease

        Use with caution in patients with GI disease (bleeding or ulcers), cardiovascular disease (CHF, hypertension), dehydration, renal or hepatic impairment, and patients receiving anticoagulants; perform ophthalmologic evaluation for those who develop eye complaints during therapy (blurred vision, diminished vision, changes in color vision, retinal changes); NSAIDs may mask signs/symptoms of infections; photosensitivity reported; elderly are at especially high-risk for adverse effects.
