About Protussa 1 Mg/5 Mg Syrup
This is a combination medication which has Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan as active ingredients. It is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of histamine in the body. This syrup is used for relieving symptoms of sinus pressure, sinus congestion, runny nose, itching of the throat and nose, watery eyes, and sneezing due to upper respiratory infections, hay fever and allergies.
You are advised to not use this syrup if you are allergic to it. Before using this syrup, inform your doctor if you have breathing problems, glaucoma, heart problems. Also, liver disease, high blood pressure, seizures, overactive thyroid, stomach problems or urination problems.
