Thanks for the query.
Tablet mentioned is the combination of Pragabalin with a pain killer. It is basically given to control pain, burning sensation and other symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Only pragabalin can be taken for a long time. But taking Aceclofenac is not safe. Plus pragabalin is a nerve pain reliever, not a nerve tonic. It essential to have a strict blood glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg HbA1c% <7. That helps in reducing neuropathy. Thanks.

If diabetes is in control normally other complications are either delayed or of less severity. Since your problem is long standing one, it may not completely go away. Pregabalin is a good drug to help in this condition. But it equally essential to maintain a strict sugar control to get better relief.

No this is not usual behaviour - suggest you to consult ophthalmologist immediately - might need evaluation by neuro specialist to evaluate further in terms of blood flow if everything structurally normal with eye.

It's NOT a good idea to take all these medications together.
Caspa Plus is Escitalopram with Clonazepam. Of these, Clonazepam is an anti-epileptic. Myelogen PG contains Pregabalin which is again an anti-epileptic.
Combining these two for diabetic neuropathy is definitely not advisable. Please talk to your doctor and clarify.

Dear lybrate-user
A few suggestions to help your Father feel better. Apply turmeric in ghee on lips to keep them soft and clear the infection in natural way.
Add coconut oil in his diet. About 2 big spoons. This will help reduce the heat caused from meds. Help soften bowel movement and also keep his digestion proper. Make sure he has every opportunity to interact with other people his age and walk as much as he can. Keeping the mind engaged will help his health at all levels.
