To gain weight you can follow these steps.

1. Take two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice.
2. Eat 20 almonds & 5 dates daily. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, banana shakes etc.
3. If your are Non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish.

Since you are already on medication I suggest you talk to your treating Psychiatrist and convey your current symptoms to them. It is possible that some changes in medication dosages will help improve the symptoms. As they are familiar with your history it is always better to have a discussion with them regarding this situation.

librium may be prescribed to you for sleep/anxiety. Use of this medicine is usually recommended for the short term until the primary illness is resolved. you can continue if these tablets give you relief , there are no harmful effects in the long run even if taken for months , but you should know the reason for heart beating faster and at 50 , one should get routine examination done , including basic tests for heart like ECHO, Lipid profile.
