Anxiety has all to do with fear and your inability (or so you would tend to think) to handle the same. Fear is based on looking too much into the future and imagining things that usually do not tend to happen (usually 90% of your fears will not happen). You need to change your perception of the fearful stimulus then you can change your response to the fear. The first one is the best and will preempt the need for the second. If you are already far gone into the reaction mode, then you need both r...more

Hello lybrate-user, pexep plus and pexep cr are different medication. While pexep plus is a combination of paroxetine plus clonazepam, pexep cr is plain paroxetine (controlled release). If you wish to take pexep cr then you have to take 0.5 mg of clonazepam with it so that you don't face withdrawal.

There is no such formula which can identify the perfect dose, it depends on person to person. Such people improve with minimal dose and some require high doses or some may not show any effect when taken this medication. You need to wait for at least 2 weeks before consulting for dose increase or change in medicine. All the best

Xet cr and pari has same salt but the difference is that xet cr is controlled release formulation and pari is plain. Control releases medication releases the salt slowly and constantly for whole day and can be taken once daily while plain medicine releases whole dose together once it get dissolved in body. Quick discharge is not a dise effect of this medication instead this medication is given for the treatment of early discharge. I guess you should consult a psychiatrist for detail discussion a...more

Baxidep cr 12.5 or Leparox 12.5 can be substituted. If these are unavailable ask for any brand consisting of paroxetine - this is the name of the chemical in pexpep.

Dear , since you are overweight for your height. I suggest you try different antidepressant instead. Paroxetine is linked to weight gain and dry mouth.
I suggest you ask your psychiatrist if he can give you other antidepressants that actually help reduce weight such as bupropion, fluoxetine etc.
I wish you all the best.

Hello lybrate-user first of all thanks for the question. I hope you have mentioned correct diagnosis with the help of doctor. Right now you are taking 37.5 mg of paroxetine. Common side effects you need to know are: sedation, weight gain, delayed ejaculation, dryness of mouth, sometimes erectile dysfunction. Max dose can ...more
