Hi,
1-thnks for the query-2-after going through your issue indepth, I advise to interact to my inbox-for private consultation-as your problem-is long-standing and regular. 3-its wrong to continue drug like this-if there is no relief after short term treats, as this causes-sever side-effects if taken for long time-when it is not relieving the basic cause of acidity. 4-hence you need 2-3 interactions to fix the cause of the acidity, after which I would plan the right treats for you.

Regarding use of pantoprazole or omeprzole or any of these proton pump inhibitors, they are more or less quite similar in actions. So do not wor...more

Hello lybrate-user. Ultrasound is a very basic test.
If it is negative for any abnormal findings it does not mean everything is normal.
There are further investigations required.
Avoid taking medicines blindly.
Lower abdomen pain is not treated with pantoprazole.
Either you can consult and take proper guidance and treatment or you can wait.

Unless you have got proven hyper secretion of acid, you should no go on taking this medicine unnecessarily and indefinitely.
