Dear Lybrate user, oxytetracycline is an antibiotic which is used in the treatment of infections in the lungs and reproductive organs. This medicine may cause teeth discoloration in the children. It may increase the risk of sunburns when exposed to sunlight. Lymecycline capsules belong to a group of medicines called tetracycline antibiotics. It is used to treat acne which appears as blackheads or whiteheads, which people often refer to as pimples or spots. This medicine can also be used to treat other infections, such as: acute sinusitis, bronchitis, infections in the abdomen, some types of eye infections called trachoma, soft skin infections etc. We usually treat this kind of issue by administering laser treatment. A relatively new form of the medical approach, laser therapy makes use of ultrasonic wavelengths. The full form of laser is light amplification by stimulated emission of radiations. This type of treatment involves tuning the light effectively, using specific wavelengths for emission to create controlling beams. We are inviting you to avail our video consultation assistance. This will help you to discuss this kind of issue with one of our senior doctors without missing the home comfort.

There is no link between temperature drop and mouth ulcers so far. But stress, anxiety, altred blood composition, immunity is definitely linked to such ulcers. You can take symptomatic relief by topically applying Amlexanox and rexidine m forte gel alternatively, 3 times daily for half an hour. Even then if no improvement or recurrence occurs, go for laser ablation of these ulcers, the most advanced solution for such stubborn ulcers.

Pain from a mouth ulcer generally lessens in a few days and the sores usually heal without treatment in about a week or two. If sores are large, painful or persistent, I may recommend an antimicrobial mouth rinse, a corticosteroid ointment, or a prescription or non-prescription solution to reduce the pain and irritation.
