Please do not attempt it on your own because there is a dosage level that has to be given according to your condition. Ultimately, it is your will power and the support that you receive from the medical fraternity and your close and dear ones. You must also learn to substitute and deal with the oral...more

Dear Mayank,
You can have alcohol with Nalcon. There is no reaction. You may not enjoy alcohol like before since Nalcon reduces the effect of good feeling with alcohol. So there will not be any craving for alcohol. You may drink less units of alcohol or may not feel like drinking again.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Cocaine addiction comes under SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND ADDICTION. Deaddiction treatment is best suited for such addictions. Medically assisted drug detoxification or alcohol detoxification alone is ineffective as a treatment for addiction. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) recommends detoxification followed by both medication (where applicable) and behavioral therapy, followed by relapse prevention.
