About Mesterolone

Mesterolone is an orally active androgenic steroid (AAS) and a dihydro derivative of testosterone (DHT) that is the male sex hormone. It is a weak androgen and is used in the treatment of hypogonadism in men, which is a condition where the testes are not able to produce enough testosterone. This is also used by bodybuilders to temporarily improve vascularity and to maintain libido off-cycle.

The medicine can be fatal if you are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding and hence, you should not take it under such conditions. It should also be avoided if you have a condition or have a history of very high calcium levels, high blood pressure, diabetes, migraine, heart or kidney problems, or if you are allergic to it or any of its components. If you are a patient of prostate cancer, breast cancer and tumor in the liver then you are advised against using it.

It is available in the form of a tablet to be taken orally. This is administered with a dosage of 25-50mg three times a day in adult males, in the initial stages and for maintenance the dosage is 25mg two to three times a day. Females are advised against taking this male hormone.
