you are very right about normal range of tsh levels. At 8.5 milli units/ml, with normal t4, the condition is classified as sub- clinical hypothyroidism. This normally is not treated with any drugs. No medicine required if bp below 140. Your present tablet contains 2 different bp medicines. Check your bp monthly on fixed dates after resting for 10 minutes. If it is invariably above 140, medicine is required. Ask your Dr. about alternative tablet with single chemical, avoid combination for mild hypertension, required only for severe cases.

It is not good to switch between 2 classes of drugs. Moreover any drug will take a few days to fully have its effect. A dose adjustment of the same drug is better if required. If the drugs have been recently started please keep a daily chart so dose can be modified accordingly. Do reach out with more details.

It's cause of concern that your insulin is not acting to neutralize the sugar while you are taking good medicines prescribed by your experience doctor. This is non response of drugs. It's not fault in treatment by your doctor. I would suggest the support of ayurveda medicine as support to your current medicine. Both won't counteract with each other.
