Many times, egg does not release with hcg injection so you may require leupride injection. U need to visit your gynecologist after 24-48 hrs of leupride injection to confirm the egg release. It may vary depending on your age and egg status but usually it takes 24-48 hrs for egg release after leupride injection.

To be reasonably sure you can do a blood for bhcg estimation.
