I have seen the the details mentioned, where there is no mention of actual glucose levels and HbA1c%, dietary details, extent of daily physical activity, seum creatinine and urea levels, BP readings and lipid profile. It is safe. The new medicine does not cause low sugar levels but it potentiates the effect of the other medicine. Hence, you should be careful to avoid low sugar levels.

Do HbA1c also which is 3 months average blood sugar. It will determine the further change in medicine.
