Your doctor would have examined the baby before giving the medicines. Based on what you wrote it could be either but more chances of post vaccination fever. You can wait a day and give only paracetamol if the fever subsides on its own in 2 days then good. Or else start the antibiotic you have been prescribed.

No mention of your exact question. In my personal opinion in rupture of ear membrane with discharge of blood or mucus, sound called tinnitus or giddiness is common. However ear has to be kept absolutely dry to the extent possible by cotton from outside only. No local medication ear drops water oil should go in. Dear lybrate-user, relax and calm down. Most likely you have impacted wax in your ear which is why you have pain, also chronic inflammation/infection of the middle ear. Please consult your nearby specialist so that a proper examination of your ear may be done using otoscope (like stethescope, and a proper diagnosis be made, so that appropiate treatment can start.

2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac.
