Elyn (eflornithine) only slows the growth of the hair. It helps to reduce the frequency of other hair removal methods (i.e, if someone has to thread once a week, when you use the cream regularly, the hair regrows slowly so that after some time of usage, you will notice that you need to thread only once in 2 or 3 weeks. It will never stop hair grow or remove hairs. And once you stop using eflornithine, the hair will start growing at the old rate again.

Hello, You need to get evaluated for hormonal imbalance like PCOD. If everything is normal there are creams eflornithine based which reduces hair growth. But the safe and effective method is laser hair removal, you may need 6-8 sessions and maintenance once in 6 mo or a year. Consult a dermatologist.

NO and YES. No it is not a good idea to use in men. But if you want you can surely use it it just keep in mind that 1. Men have much more hair and the effect of cream will not be as good as that in women (it is basically used for women) 2. You will revert to previous state with in 4 months of stopping the treatment. Yes you can apply sunscreen on top after elyn cream is fully absorbed. Time gap can be of 5-10 mins.
