Medicines are just for symptomatic relief. When there is severe inflammation of pulp or abcess is there, painkillers may not work in that condition. Surgical drainage of pus and procedure according to prognosis after clinical evaluation and radiographic diagnosis is essential. So visit a nearby dental surgeon and get complete treatment for it. Then only medicines will work as they are just supportive in removing dental infection with dental treatment procedures.

Hello,
pain could be because of tooth decay or eruption of wisdom tooth, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done if required. If there is cavity get it filled. If there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. If the pain is because of wisdom tooth you can do salt water rinses, this will give you temporary relief. If required get it removed.
