    How does this medication work?

    The exact mechanism of this medication is yet to be identified. But it is proposed to be known as a symptom- and structure-modifying agent used to treat osteoarthritis. It is believed to cause glucosamine-induced reversal action interleukin-1, especially pro-inflammatory and joint-degenerating effects. It also inhibits the NF-κB pathway. These inhibitions lead to impeding the protein synthesis and gene expression, selectively for COX-2, which avert the PGE2. Thus alleviates the pathological condition.
