Hello sir, thanks for the query. Your medication needs to be changed. Start zoryl mv1 one tablet before lunch and 1 before dinner. Also start tab ziten m 20/500 one tablet in morning before breakfast. Keep your routine regular.
Eat food at regular intervals (every 4 hourly. Eat a balanced diet.
Exercise for atleast 1 hr daily.
Check your sugars after 1 month fbs, pmbs, hba1c.

Do your hba1c. Hba1c will show you exact diabetes control. Fasting and post meals sugar will show particular day glucose reading. Fbs and ppbs is trailer of diabetes, hba1c is entire movie. Do your hba1c from srl or metropolis.

Hello, Thanks for the query. In diabetes when required control is not achieved with single drug, multiple drugs are used. In T2 diabetes the beta cell mass is already down to 50 % by the time diagnosis is made. Then if severe hyperglycemia is present then there's further damage to remaining beta cells. In such situations Insulin injections are required along with oral anti- diabetic drugs. Thus the reason for using more drugs is to achieve better glucose control. Thanks.
