Take foods high in vitamin B12 such as eggs, meat, milk products, fortified breakfast cereals, and some nutritional yeast products. Also foods high in folate such as dark leafy green vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, eggs, dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, and grains.

If its sprain and you have swelling and pain, 4 things are important. Rest, ice, compression, elevation (rice). Take rest, don't put much stress on the affected leg. Use ice packs for 15-20 mins after every 1-2 hours. Apply a crepe bandage with uniform pressure over the swollen area, don't make it very tight or very loose and open it while sleeping and bathing. And keep the leg elevated (on a table or by using pillows)

As height can be gained till 21 yrs. Of age in males and 18 yrs. In females, so there are 5 yrs. More left to grow further!
