My son aarav is 3 month old suffering from diarrhea. I had given first normetrogyl syrup. With loperamide and sporlac. Then consult a pediatrician he prescribed septrogyl syrup. And racecadotril and flexon syrup and zinc preparation. But diarrhea is continue. What should I do?

Take care of possible source of infection.
Improve personal hygeine.
Give ors containing zinc frequently with usual diet.

I am facing problems with my stomach since past 1 month or so, I was prescribed Redotil by a Doctor and now the case is whenever I take the medicine the stool is fine but if I skip it even once the stool is part solid part liquid. What should I do?

please stop redotil.
take probiotics like lactobacilli powder thrice in a day.
take enterogermina sachet twice daily for 5 days.
eat balanced diet .include fresh curd in your diet daily.

My baby is 5 month old and is suffering from loose motions (6 - 7 times in a day) from past 2 days. As suggested by doc I gave her Enuff sachet three times but no effect. I also gave her gripe water. What should I give her. Pls suggest. The stool is yellow, watery and seedy.

Hi my 4 month girl baby is suffering with diarrhea since 13 april, I have given enterogermina for 5 days 14-19 &znd, after than she was fine for 2 days. diarrhea (7-8 time watery stool) started again from 22. I am feeding tufpro and enuff-10 since last day, today she passed 4 heavy watery stool and 3 very less amount of stool. Kindly suggest me, what to do.

My lmp is 8-12 march and few days back ie on 2 april I tested n it came +ve 2faint line, today is 8/3/21 still m getting faint line in d mrng rest negative in evening n night im not getting whether m pregnant or not shed I wait more? My cycles are also of 25 days so I think its enuff time but I still do not have periods what you say?

Sir, My mother had a colon cancer at Stage 2 and gone thru Radio & Chemo therapy and completed 28 days on 6th Sep-17. From 7th onwards she is having motions normal stool & now from last 4 days she is having watery motions where she does not have any control while passing the same. We have kept the Diapers but still its coming out. We are giving the medicine of REDOTIL 100 mg & becelac forte 1-1-1 from last 7 days. But motions are not getting controlled. Could you pls advice what should we do.?

Chemotherapy is usually associated with many side effects. Loose stools is one of them. It will take sometime to resolve. Take plenty of oral fluids and anti diarrhea medicines.

Hello doctors, My baby girl is 4.5 month old she was having fever from 4 days so we visited doctor and he diagnosed her with diarrhea since she was passing v less urine and more watery stools. So doctor has prescribed zenflox 2.5 ml, entroflora, redotil sachet. And asked me to stop breastfeeding and start zerolac milk for her. I am not convinced to stop breast feeding since I have heard from all that breastfeeding ia the best medicine and contains antibodies for children to fight with infection. Please suggest.

You are right lybrate-user. But breast milk or any other milk contain lactose sugar which may not be digested in very prolonged diarrhoea. With just 4 day history I think you should not stop breast milk but can get stool for reducing substance done which may decide future course of action. Stopping of breast milk is very very rare thing and usually not required.

My mother age 63. She is going through with chemo. From July. From 3rd of dec. She was facing small surgery of wound with pus after that day she was facing loose motion in ever 2 hours. She is taking soft diet and medicines like. redotil-100 mg, oz, vizylac, and isabgol with curd. But not relief. Doctor gastro says it's colitis and prescribe vancomycin -250 mg before left colonoscopy. What to do? It's safe. Is this medicine reliable?

Bcoz she's undergoing chemotherapy, she is having mucositis along with some surgical site infection. She needs good hydration and c/s of wound site with dressing and glycine. Check for counts.

I am 21 years old female under treatment for nausea ,vomiting, diarrhea from last 2 weeks. The prescribed medicine are metronidazole 400 mg 3 times, ciprofloxacin 500 mg 2 times, ranitidine 150 mg 2 times and Racecadotril (for 3 days 3 times a day), Ondansetron (3 times for 7 days). Now I am better with vomiting and diarrhea but I feel lot of gas inside my stomach unable to pass gas, only burps and sometime hiccups and I feel nausea/vomiting at night. My CBC, LFT ,KFT, Ultrasound test are normal. Ps - I have previous medical history, I am under treatment for my depression from the last 2 years. I am taking carbamazepine 200 mg two times a day and clonazepam 0.25 mg two times a day. Please tell me how much time it will take to recover. I am feeling very low just because of my nausea/ vomiting.

From a few days I was having complete loose motion. I consulted a MBBS doctor who suggested me brakke tablet along with a capsule named Cyra - D.I took them for 2-3 days but the symptoms were same loose stool just like water. Then I approached a MD doctor who gave me 3 medicines 1) Redotil 2) lactobacil plus 3) folic acid. I took those medicines for a day and now my stool has moved to semi solid phase but its not completely solid. I want to know how much time will it take for me to completely get cure cause I am suffering from the stress that I might have some cyst in my stomach or somewhere though I don't have any pain. I would also like to know the possible symptoms of having cyst in stomach spleen or somewhere in the digestive track.

Hi Take grahini gajendra ras with water twice a day...take chitrakadi vati 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water after lunch and dinner....avoid spicy food...fermented and junk food....avoid alcohol consumption....tea and coffee...take fresh butter milk empty stomach....
