About Chymonac-Mr Tablet

This medication is used for the treatment of muscle stiffness. It is anti-inflammatory and analgesic. The medicine works as a competitive GABA receptor antagonist. This medication provides relief for stiffness in spinal/ muscle diseases/ joint diseases.

Apart from this, nerve diseases/ rheumatoid arthritis/ ankylosing spondylitis and for nonarticular rheumatism. It prohibits the action of cyclo-oxygenase in the body and resultantly lowers pain and swelling.

People with history of seizures should avoid taking this tablet as it has convulsant activity. Seek medical attention as soon as possible if you notice any allergic reaction. Other side effects you may experience on using this medication are

    This medication is a derivative of glucoside, colchicoside that is contained within the Colchicum autumnale plant. It is a type of synthetic sulfur derivative. This tablet has a high affinity for g-aminobutyric acid receptors. It activates GABA pathways and acts on the muscular contractures. Also, it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever.
