It does not belong to addiction category if medicine. Rather your depression or is chronic and needs continuous treatment. Govt periodically bans combination medications, you can get the components of escitalopram and flupenthixol separately, after psychiatrist evaluation. Good luck.

Dear Lybrate user,

ESCITALOPRAM OXALATE decreases sexual functions. So unless you stop taking escitalopram your problem of premature ejaculation will not be cured even if you take medicnes for escitalopram.

escitalopram, apart from impotence, can cause worsening of depression, suicidal tendency. Sweating, dizziness, gastrointestinal upset, fatigue, sexual dysfunction, ejaculation disorder, fever, sinusitis, yawning. The erection problem will stop when you stop using it
