About Candid-B Lotion

Candid-B Lotion is used to treat various types of fungal infections. It cures different skin diseases like psoriasis, eczema, tinea pedis, cruris and corpora. It is a combination of clotrimazole and betamethasone. These two active ingredients possess antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties respectively.

This medication is to be applied externally. Apply it on the infected area as a thin layer with clean and dry hands. Be careful not to touch your eyes or nose with it on your hands. If it reaches the eyes or nose, rinse it thoroughly with water until it washes off completely.

May apply porous dressing. Report persistent burning, swelling, itching, worsening of condition, or lack of response to therapy. The course of the medication must be completed and it should be applied regularly even if the symptoms are wearing off slowly.

Pregnant and Breastfeeding women must be very cautious while using this medication. One should know about the allergies, if any, and refrain from using this medicine if it is not suitable for.

    This lotion is a synthetic glucocorticoid that specifically binds to cytoplasmic receptors. It inhibits leukocyte entry at the inflammation site, interferes in inflammatory response mediators functioning, and reduces edema and scar tissues. It also gets binds to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and alters its permeability.
