When antihistamines don't provide relief, oral corticosteroids may be prescribed. A biologic drug, omalizumab (Xolair), is also approved to treat chronic hives in those at least 12 years of age. For severe hive or angioedema outbreaks, an injection of epinephrine (adrenaline) or a cortisone medication may be needed.

You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh), not from ready made gels available in market. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Or keep it overnight.
Use some sunblock with spf (at least 50) every time you go out in sun. Apply it 30 mins before going out

You can get allergic testing done at a good centre. There after if found allergic to one or two substances then can get relief by immunotherapy. Another option is get total IgE done. If the level is high you will benefit by anti IgE called Omalizumab. This has been recently approved in USA for allergic urticaria.

2 Antihistamines like cetrizine Leukotriene receptor antagonists

There are methods called allergen immunotherapy which can reverse the disease process. These are added to medications after optimum asthma control after appropriate allergy skin prick testing only and. These need to be done by a allergy specialist. But beware of people doing blood allergy testing.
