If you still have residual paresis of facial muscles after 4 years of onset of confirmed bells palsy, its unlikely to improve further. But at the time you should be sure that it was bells palsy and there is not any lesion inside brain responsible for facial nerve palsy.

Tinnitus is a common problem usually associated with deafness. It is of two types, subjective and objective. In objective tinnitus you can find out the cause of tinnitus while in subjective it is difficult to find the cause. Treatment consisit of reassurance and certain vasodilator and vitamin treatment.In objective tinnitus you may require surgery if cause is confirmed by all mod of Diagnosis including CT scan.

Hi lybrate-user - for "Bell's palsy" the treatment is a course of oral steroids in tapering doses for 7 days; after that period is over, the only intervention that has been shown to be better than placebo is physiotherapy. So, to give you a short answer - No, there is no (scientifically - proven) therapy which can be given to her at this point. Hot fomentation wd a Infra red lamp or Hot pack can be added on the side of Paralysis. Chewing a Chewing Gum exercise on affected side, & inflating big balloons exercise should be done many times in a day, if not doing presently. Gentle massage can be done on the paralysed side. It takes 15 days to 21 days for full recovery. Wish her early recovery!
