Little bit difference. Side effects like swelling over legs is less with S-Amlodipine, Also efficacy is little superior of S-Amlodipine but if her BP is controlled with Amlodipine you can continue with that.

Check your pulse when you feel lightheaded. This can be done using an electronic blood pressure machine, or simply feeling pulsations on your wrist. If your pulse is 60 or more, you should be alright.

Chronic constipation may cause straining and hard, lumpy stools. You may also feel bloated, feel full more easily, or have a decreased appetite. Fatigue, too, is different for everyone. Fatigue that's persistent and lacks an apparent cause is different than just being tired.

U should not skip any medication particularly blood pressure medications. Poor bp control will lead to rapid progression of kidney disease and also can lead to other catastrophes like heart attack and brain stroke. It is better to avoid fasting and continue medications as advised.

It is normal for BP to fluctuate. At time HTN during pregnancy resolves post pregnancy. You can try staying off medications for a 5-7 days and then get your BP rechecked. If it is normal no need for BP medication. Also stay in follow up of a cardiologist for BP management. For palpitations you can get a ECG done when you feel fast heart rate or a 24 HR holter and consult a cardiologist.
