About Alt-Fm 10Mg/120Mg Tablet

A leukotriene receptor antagonist, Alt tablet is used to treat asthma, hay fever and seasonal allergy symptoms. It is a combination of Montelukast and Fexofenadine which prevents asthma attacks and breathing problems caused by exercise. This medication works by blocking leukotriene which in turn decreases certain asthma and allergic symptoms.

It is advised to use alternative forms of this medication if you are already taking idelalisib and ivacaftor. To ensure no interaction with other medicines take place, consult your doctor about the medications you are on. Seek medical help if you experience any of these severely. Usual dosage for this medication is 10mg tablet taken once daily for as long as prescribed. Dosage is individualised to patient needs.

    Alt is composed of Montelukast and Fexofenadine. Montelukast is one chemical that causes allergic reactions in the body. This medicine selectively blocks the action of this chemical in the body. Fexofenadine selectively inhibits the peripheral H1 receptors thereby reducing the histamine levels in the body. It specifically acts on allergies caused in the stomach and intestine, blood vessels and airways leading to the lung.
