These are the causes of greying of hair: • improper Diet (Malnutrition) • Due to other skin diseases (Dandruff, Leucoderma etc) • Stress • Due to medicines • Use of chemical products (hair gel, colours) • Due to pollution For prevention from greying of hairs follow these instructions: • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself. • You can apply amla powder, Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it. • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo. • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily, and a glass of milk also. You can eat cheese or soya protein. • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. You can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and prevent hair from greying. • Avoid the use of products such as hair colours or excessive shampoo. •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo.

*Take protein rich food --- seeds, pulses, nuts, Also fruits, vegetables, greens and reduce cereals. *Green tea is also good. *Take lemon juice and honey in warm water in the early morning, empty stomach. *Avoid sweets, fried foods, processed food and junk food. A * Maintain food timings * Don’t miss breakfast. *Avoid heavy dinners and late night meals. *Avoid stimulants, aerated drinks sweetish juices, etc. And maintain good food habits. * Drink lots of water and keep hydrated. Avoid sugary soft drinks * Have adequate, timely, good night sleep *Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful.

Diet for Gout

Gout, a form of arthritis that occurs when high uric acid blood levels cause crystals to form around a joint, is partially connected to diet. Uric acid is produced as your body breaks down purines, found in foods such as meat, seafood and alcohol. Most often, the treatment of gout includes dietary restrictions especially proteins. If you have been diagnosed with gout, random, severe restrictions, especially of proteins, is not needed. You need dietary recommendations, but you can have options and a wide variety of food choices.

Alcohol- You need to limit or avoid alcohol, especially beer when you have an inflammation or attack. You should avoid or limit drinks like soft drinks or juice drinks that are sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup, but you can freely drink homemade fruit juices. Coffee is also an option for gout sufferers. Two cups of coffee a day actually reduce the risk of gout and that increasing coffee consumption decreases uric acid levels.

Protein rich foods-

Animal proteins especially crustaceans like crabs , prawns, and organ meats are problematic as they are high in purines. If you avoid these very high purine foods, you may be able to enjoy a serving of chicken, fish or eggs about twice a week.

Plant-based proteins, such as beans and legumes, are excellent options on a gout diet. If you choose these as your primary protein source, not only will you be avoiding the purines in animal proteins, but you will also be eating less saturated fat. Saturated fat decreases your body's ability to get rid of uric acid, so it may increase the risk of gout symptoms. Again, dairy products such as milk, paneer and yogurt are allowable and decrease the risk of inflammation.

Fruits and vegetables -

Most fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are allowed. Avoid excessive intake of spinach, cauliflower, asparagus and mushrooms. Even high-fructose fruits such as apples, peaches and pears can be kept at three times a week. In addition, whole-grain products are better choices than refined carbohydrates like white bread, maida, and biscuits.

First tell me where did you have sprain and since how many days? and if it has become reddish n painful .Then apply cold on it .Ice cubes packed in a polyethene.Keep it there for 10mins .3-4 times a day .And tie a crepe bandage on it .And also keep it elevated . Once pain gets relieved, you must visit a physiotherapist for further treatment. Thankyou

Hello, Lip pigmentation are little hard to manage. You can try glomax lip gel during the day and a lip balm with Sunscreen during the day. Also a mandelic acid peel will help. Consult a certified Dermatologist.

Please It is not a serious problem I will suggest few points. Wake up early go for morning walk in greenery daily Do yogasanas and pranayam daily Do perineal and pelvic exercises daily Take salads and fruits more Take carrots and beet root juice daily Avoid rice, oily food, non veg food Take Cap evecare by Himalaya 2 2 for 6 mths Lohasav 10 ml twice a day for 6 mths Ashokarishta 20 ml twice a day for 6 mths Do sonography of abdomen after 3 mths Send me report on Lybrate.

bad breath develops due to deposition of plaque and calculus around teeth causing gum infection. no medicine for this, visit a dentist for professional cleaning of your teeth. this will remove these layers and hence this problem will subside soon. you can also ask for antibacterial mouth rinses. also follow strict oral hygiene habits.

Ayurvedic Remedies to Get Rid of Stretch Marks

The skin is the first organ, which shows the signs of ageing. Whether it is wrinkles or stretch marks the first signs will be shown on the skin. Stretch marks are not only the cause of ageing, but also form due to obesity, sudden increase in height, sudden weight loss or gain, etc. You might often think of how to get rid of these marks as they aren't attractive and make the skin look old.

Here are a few ayurvedic remedies to get rid of stretch marks:

  1. Olive Oil: Olive oil is a wonderful type of cleanser and moisturizer. Olive oil cures the damaged collagen of the skin. It also helps to increase the blood flow to the surface of the skin.
  2. Cocoa butter: Cocoa butter can be used as a moisturizer. It helps to improve the elasticity of the skin. By hydrating the skin, it also improves the appearance of the skin. Besides cocoa butter, you can also use almond oil, vitamin E oil and lavender oil.
  3. Aloe vera gel: Aloe Vera has a variety of uses for the body. In the case of stretch marks, aloe vera gel helps lighten the stretch marks. This will eventually result in complete disappearance of the stretch marks.
  4. Sesame oil: Mix Sesame oil with pure olive and almond oil and massage it gently over stretch marks area, this will help lighten the marks on skin.
  5. Sandalwood: Sandalwood helps the skin to cool down. It also improves the elasticity of the skin.
  6. Potato Juice: Potato juice contains a lot of antioxidants, which help to soothe the skin and remove stretch marks.
  7. Alfalfa: Alfalfa has a huge amount of vitamin K, vitamin E and amino acids. These help in curing damaged collagen in the skin which is the prime cause of stretch marks.
  8. Castor Oil: Castor oil helps to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It also helps the damaged tissues regain their original shape. It also helps the skin to return to its original position after suffering from stretching.

Apart from the above mentioned oils, regular yoga asanas, stretching exercises, nutritious diet, and a wholesome meal is a must for your skin nourishment.

do let me know which diet (veg/non veg) you prefer? a therapeutic diet in itself can solve many of your problems. Dietary therapy prescribed by a registered dietitian is needed. Dear madam you are in a state of confusion be cool and balanced. Don't worry. I will give you a solution. Keep your digestive system fit by not taking spicy food and hardly digested food and non vegetarian. Take plenty of water. Take following medicines vrukka dosha hara vati 2tabs and chandra prabha vati, 2 tabs morning and evening with water. Sthree rasayana vatican 2 tabs 8 am&8 pm, ie after break fast and dinner. Make a decoction with following and take 50 ml morning and evening along with above vrukka dosha hara and chandra prabha. How to prepare kashaya (depiction) take 400, ml of water and put 5 to 10 gms vrukka dodha hara kwatha churna in it boil and reduce to 100 ml. Strain decoction ready all the above medicines are available with baba ramdev's pathanjali. Do pranayama meditation regularly. You will be free from all your problems by the grace of god.

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night. Calories calculator you will get on google download it.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Don't eat sugar and avoid sugar sweetened drinks. Increase your protein intake. Cut carbs from your diet. Eat food rich in fiber Aerobic exercises like walking, running, swimming. Eat lots of green veggies. Never skip breakfast. Exercises - Do reverse crunches. Vertical leg crunch Do 15 repetitions of kettle bell swing followed by 15 reps of squat thrust.

Hi 3 years back we fought from then she left the house for 1 year stayed alone we have 1 child 8 year old she had put the case for divorce also still the case is going on even now from last 2 years staying with me every thing is going well even we together do the house hold work. Even we go to court together for the date still the consultation is going in the court she sleeps with me on the same bed even we go for the holiday also with whole family but she is not interested in having sex suddenly she feels happy she hugs me for helping her I don't understand some times her behaviour changes some time she says on the coming date we will get divorced while some time she says if she would wanted to separated she would have done before. I am confused from this behaviour. I just want that my life to get on track as it was before now she is preparing for the tour ladak she is going with a group even she consult from wat to do even we bought a new bike avenger 220 for her and I have taught her to drive this is her passion in life and dream to go ladak riding her self some time she ask me to come with her but due to financial problems we cannot tour together and she is very ambitious women which I like about her I never want her to get down for anything in life just help me how can I come out from this bad phase. Even she earn good she do parlour work taking tuition at home she get irritate some time if the work is done according to her. Their are many up and down in my life but I never give up but this time in my life I am confuse how get on track so advice me how to come up from this bad phase.

Please see a marriage counselor or psychologist. Perhaps she just needs you to understand. Many times you can't live together and you also can't live apart. Perhaps she needs her personal space. Communication is the only way. Keep all channels of communication open. Try to talk to her and understand her deepest desires.

Hello. I am 18 years old. I'm suffering from premature hair 'greying' and 'hairfall'though the intensity of grey hairs have reduced since years but the hairfall isn't decreased. Whenever I put my hand into my hairs 5-6 hairs just come out easily. I often find my hairs rough n dry. please help so that I can get rid of this 'hairfall' n also hair 'greying' naturally and suggest me something for soft, smooth,shiny n long hair. Please.

•Please do the following: Put some coconut oil in a pan. Boil a few dried Indian gooseberry pieces (if you do not have dried amla then use amla powder) in the oil until they become charred. Let the oil cool. Apply the oil on your hair and scalp. Leave it on overnight, or at least for an hour, before rinsing it out. Do this at least once or twice a week.
