8 Reasons Why You Might Get that Headache

MD - Anatomy, MBBS
General Physician, Gurgaon
8 Reasons Why You Might Get that Headache

Headache is one of the most common maladies which refers to a pain sensation in the head. It may itself be an ailment or may be the symptom of any other illness. Headaches can last for a short time or may persist up to several weeks depending on its cause or type. Many reasons can trigger headache.

The following are eight reasons why you might get that headache

  1. Stress: Physical stress or emotional stress can be identified as one of the most common causes for your headache. Tension, anxiety and depression may trigger a headache. This is also known as tension headache. In this condition, the muscles of your scalp, neck, face and jaw tighten, thus causing pain. Fatigue may also lead to this type of headache.
  2. Eye problems: Sometimes eye problems may be the cause of your headache. Diseases such as glaucoma can cause headache. Straining your eyes for seeing distant objects or glaring at your computer screen for long can also result in headache.
  3. Eating and sleeping pattern: Change in eating and sleeping pattern can also cause headache. Inadequate sleep or caffeine withdrawal can give you terrible headache sometimes.
  4. Ear, nose or throat disorders: Ear, nose or throat problems can also give rise to headache. Sinus caused by cold or infection, tonsillitis or throat infections can also prompt a headache.
  5. Medication: Excessive use of medication can be a factor responsible for your headache. This is also known as rebound headache.
  6. Dental problems: Jaw or dental problems sometimes may trigger a mild headache which can turn severe also. The alignment of lower and upper jaw, tooth decay may be some of the causes for headache.
  7. Hormonal problems: Sometimes a decline of your estrogen levels can also be a reason for your headache.
  8. Bad posture: Sometimes, poor posture may strain the muscles of your back and neck, triggering a headache.

Headache can be very annoying. Sometimes pain relief medicines help in controlling headache, but consuming them regularly may affect your health. You must consult a doctor in order to get your headache treated in a proper manner.

I am suffering from fever and feeling cold with a high body temperature and my subconscious going to lose my fitness.

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
I am suffering from fever and feeling cold with a high body temperature and my subconscious going to lose my fitness.
Please take rhus tox 200 - thrice daily for next 3-4 days. Also -- soak a washcloth in cool tap water, wring out the excess water and then sponge areas like your armpits, feet, hands and groin to reduce the temperature. Also, you can place cold, damp washcloths on your forehead and the back of your neck. The cloth pieces should be changed regularly after a few minutes. This remedy is beneficial when dealing with a high fever as it helps keep temperature under control. You can also take a bath in lukewarm water to relax your body. Taking a shower, however, may not be a good idea. Plus, needless to say, take as much rest as possible as it helps the body fight the illness. Note: do not use very cold water as it may cause the internal body temperature to increase. Consult me for homeopathic treatment. Recommend me by clicking on recommend option and leave feedback.

I have some alargie on head, thanks why lots of have fall down. Tel me tha good medicine or advice.
There are several home remedies available which can help you get rid of allergies. We will focus on some of them. Applying avocado paste on rashes is an effective home remedy against allergyanother effective home remedies that help get rid of allergies is use of honey. However, while purchasing honey, see to it that you don? t buy impure honey. One of the best home remedies in curing allergies is drinking green tea. It contains natural antihistamine. Drink at least 1-2 cups of green tea everyday. Add some honey to it for taste. If you are not that fond of green tea then you can also drink black tea as it is from the same plant family as the green tea. Chamomile tea is also popular when it comes to home remedies for curing allergies. Drinking two to three cups a day of chamomile tea can help fight allergies. Apple acid vinegar is also one of the effective home remedies for allergies. All you have to do is add some vinegar in water and with the help of the gauze piece apply it on your body. You can also add the mixture in your bathtub for better results. One of the trusted and time tested home remedy for allergy is ginger. Just peel and crush one piece of fresh ginger and then keep it in a mug and pour hot water over it. Allow it to stay in the water for sometime (5-10 minutes) and consume it for a minimum once a day. The other best home remedies especially for allergies such as rashes is melting potato flour in one glass of water and then adding the mixture in a bucket full of water or a bath tub. You can then bath/ relax in the bathtub for at least thrice a day to get rid of rashes. These were some of the home remedies that help treat allergies.
