it is better to consume fish for diabetics though I don't agree with previous sentences which you wrote. you can have pomfret, surmai, bangada, manyeli, erle, Mori, etc (Indian names)

Fight Osteoporosis with these 15 foods

Osteoporosis is a disease wherein the bones become very weak and fragile. People with osteoporosis have an increased risk for fractured bones, even from minor falls or accidents.

It is always considered that elderly women are prone to osteoporosis, but this is not true. Damage to the bone starts at an early age. In order to maintain strong and healthy bones and prevent osteoporosis, you need to take certain precautions from an early age. Follow these 15 tips to improve your bone status and avert osteoporosis.

1. Milk and milk products
Include a healthy proportion of low fat milk and milk products (cheese, yogurt, paneer, skimmed milk powder) in your meals. The calcium and proteins in the milk makes the bones strong and healthy.

2. Nuts
Having a fistful of nuts daily provides one's body with the required minerals like calcium, magnesium, manganese and phosphorus. Almonds and pistachios in particular are good sources of calcium.

3. Vegetables
Include brocolli, chinese cabbage, cauliflower, beetroot and okra in your daily diet to strengthen your bones.

4. Ragi
Ragi has around 330 mg to 350 mg of calcium per 100gms of dry weight which makes it one of the most sought after cereal for improving the bone status.

5. Dates
Dates are particularly good sources of calcium with manganese. Copper and magnesium helps in improving the bone mineral density.

6. Sunlight
Some amount of sun exposure is required to produce vitamin d beneath our skin. Vitamin d along with calcium helps in strengthening the bone health of individuals

7. Fruits
Include fruits like like oranges, guava, strawberries, and pineapples etc, these fruits will provide vitamin c to the body which in turn will strengthen our bones. Also include banana and apple.

8. Dark green leafy vegetables
Though dark green leafy vegetables are touted as one of the major means for improving one's calcium status.

This one could be tricky because spinach has good amount of calcium but the presence of oxalate prevents the absorption of calcium.

Instead opt for collard greens, mustard greens, methi, amaranth, mustard green and turnip greens for getting enough calcium in the diet.

9. Pulses
100gms of black gram dal (urad dal) has around 200mg of calcium. Also soyabean, horsegram, lima beans and lentils can be included in one's daily diet to get the required quota of calcium.

10. Egg
Eggs are a good source of many minerals. Eggs are one of the only foods that contain naturally occurring vitamin d.

11. Physical activity
20-30 mins walking daily helps stop further weakening of bones. Weight bearing exercises such as low impact aerobics, stair climbing, running, skipping helps to strengthen our bones.

12. Calcium fortified foods
One can rely on calcium fortified foods (orange juice, soy beverages, tofu products, rice milk, etc) these days to ensure that they are getting enough calcium to support a healthy structure.

13. Omega 3 fatty acids
These can have a positive impact or even prevent serious degenerative illnesses rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.

One can get omega 3 fatty acids from various seeds like pumpkin seeds and flaxseeds or fish oils.

14. Calcium supplementation
Opt for calcium asparginate or calcium citrate tablets to improve your bone structure.

15. Fish
Deep water fishes like sardines, salmon, tuna and mackerel have good amounts of calcium and other minerals. These fishes when consumed with their bones increase the calcium three folds.

Also a word of precaution - cut back on cigarette smoking and excessive alcohol intake as it depletes the calcium levels in the body. Also cut back on your salt consumption and avoid salty foods as it leaches the calcium out of the bones.

Yes milk is source of protein, but full cream milk have lot of fat so it can cause weight gain in absence of regular Physcial activity better to take toned milk as it has same quantity of protein as full cream but has less fat

Do not think so deep about phytates. If you are taking a normal healthy balanced diet there is no deficiency of zinc or iron in the body because of phytates in the whole grain. So do not be so much concern abt phytate contents in your food. Normal cooking of food reduces phytate level in food. Sprouting of grains also reduces phytate amt in diet take vit c rich food like - citrus fruits - lemon, orange, to balance phytate try for 15 days and give feed back for more advise.

Hello, Symptoms you are describing seems to be due to Maxillary Sinusitis Kindly do Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days You can do Breathing exercises/ Brisk walking as this will ventilate sinus As CT scan PNS is advised to diagnose maxillary sinusitis but first you consult ENT doctor for evaluation and kindly tell me what Doctor has diagnosed

If you want to put up wt in rt way, its always suggestable to take more protein related diet&to reduce the intake of fat, carbohydrates in your diet. Tes, ofcourse, you need to take more veg, green leafy, vegetables of all kinds, fruits, milk,& related all contents too. If in non. Veg, you can take more fish[with less spices, less oily], meat, egg. Mostly white. Take more sprouts, salads, millets, dal as supplemens. Do not forget to take more intake of water, approximatelyminimum 3-4 litres/day. Avoid outside food, junk/fast/more spicy food& canned, baked, packaged food or drinks. **at the same time you needtodo some exercises, regularly, to get fitness, that may be in gym, or by jogging, plating anyway for maintaining fitness.

Don't let more than four hours go by without eating. Eat several foods at once. Eat healthy, but dense foods. Drink your food. Eat right before bed. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day take banana milk shake. Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day. Take sleep after taking meal drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee. Eat sweets.

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

smoking is known risk factor for osteopenia and osteoporosis. Hyperthyroidism is also a lesser know risk factor. you can improve your bone density by quitting smoking and keep your thyroid levels under control.

If you want to become strong and healthy then follow natural healthy habits. Go for a routine checkup with a doctor to rule out any major illness. Certain tests should be done to know the status of your health (For example - CBC, ESR, blood sugar, thyroid, renal and liver profile tests along with urine routine). Hello, The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on these points which helps in right way without harming your body if you don’t have any medical condition. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day.Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. This is where protein shakes and bars really come in handy. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month. For Masturbation: Masturbation drains vital nutrients from the body. If body is in the state of good health to recover, supported by healthy food, regular exercise and calm mind, this practice may cause no impact. Continued drain without enough nutrition reach can lead to weakness (trauma), reflected both in mind (lack of self confidence is the most common) and in the body (digestive disorders, hair fall, frequent urination etc). Medication: Take Staphysagria 200 and Alfaalfa Tonic - both twice daily for 3 weeks.
