Kidney & Gallbladder Stones - Dietary Tips That Can Be Of Help!
Kidney stones are caused when certain minerals of your urine are retained and are not fully released, causing them to amalgamate and form a stone. Passing a kidney stone is one of the most painful experiences you may face physically.

Its magnanimity is often compared to childbirth, and those who are suffering from kidney stones dread having this experience. If you are not yet affected by kidney stones and do not want to, read further to know what type of diet you need to follow in order to prevent it.

Drink lots of water: On an average, a person must be drinking at least 3 liters of water every day. If you live in a more hot and humid climate, your water intake must be even more than that, so that on an average, 2.5 liters of urine is passed throughout the day, which decreases the chance of unnecessary retention of minerals from the urine and release them more easily from the body.
Continue eating foods rich in calcium: It is a common misconception that calcium accelerates the formation of kidney stones. Calcium is digested by the intestine, only excess calcium cannot be digested by the intestine and is sent to the kidney. Continue consuming calcium rich foods unless your doctor prescribes you against it. Make sure your diet includes enough dairy products such as milk, cheeses, etc., or other calcium rich foods, such as oats and broccoli.
Limit intake of oxalic acid: Oxalic acid is mostly found in foods obtained from plants. It restricts the absorption of calcium in the intestines and as a result, more calcium is passed into the kidneys; thus, forming calcium oxalate, or oxalate stones. Try to avoid foods, such as rhubarb, Swiss chard, nuts, tea, sweet potatoes, etc.; mainly leguminous plant products.
Decrease the ingestion of sodium salts, sugar and meat protein: Salts and sugars, mainly found in packaged foods are used to prevent them from expiring. They increase the release of calcium and oxalates into the blood, which thus increases the chance to develop kidney stones. Meat contains fibers which affect certain nutrients in the kidney, thus aggravating the formation of stones.
Increase the consumption of insoluble fibers: Insoluble fibers are those rough fibers which are not soluble in water during the process of digestion. They are found in rice, wheat, barley, etc., and are found to decrease calcium absorption in the kidney. They attach themselves to the calcium and oxalates, which enable them to be released as stool instead of urine.
Dietary Tips For Treating Gallbladder Stones:

People also usually suffer from gallbladder stones which complicate their daily living. The best way to treat and prevent them is by following some dietary guidelines. Here are a few tips for you:

Foods that can be of help:

Managing your weight is always a good option to prevent gallstones. You are recommended to eat a diet that is low in fat and cholesterol, moderate in calories and high in fiber. The healthy food options to ensure the same are as follow:

Fresh fruits and vegetables
Whole grains (whole-wheat bread, brown rice, oats, bran cereal)

Lean meat, poultry, and fish

Low-fat dairy products

Foods you should ignore:

Dietary restrictions may not eliminate gallstones that are already there, but eating a healthy, balanced variety of nutrients may help you ease the symptoms. Foods you should avoid are:

Fried foods
Highly processed foods (doughnuts, pie, cookies)

Whole-milk dairy products (cheese, ice cream, butter)

Fatty red meat

Following these dietary tips can be of great help in keeping your kidneys and gallstones healthy forever.

I usually do some tests every 3 months. Recently I did some tests like blood glucose, lipid profile, uric acid, lft, rft, thyroid etc. After the results come out, there is a liver infection (fatty liver), increased triglycerides. Everything else is normal. I consulted a homoeopathic doctor, she told me that there is no need of medicine and I have to make dietary and lifestyle changes to lose weight, everything will be normal. Should I undergo treatment or not? I prefer the only homoeopath.

How much is your lipid profile. Fatty liver grade one or two. Treatment depends upon this information. You can do the following-- stop smoking (if you smoke). Smoking lowers your hdl, (“good”) cholesterol level. Change the way you eat. Low-fat, low-cholesterol eating benefits all your lipid levels. Lose weight if necessary. Maintain healthy lifestyle start exercising. For more details you can consult me. Pancreatitis - Causes & Symptoms Of It!
An inflammation of the pancreas is known as pancreatitis. The pancreas is an organ that produces digestive enzymes. Pancreatitis might start any day and continue for long period and it requires immediate medical attention. It is of two types - acute pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis. Although the treatment usually requires hospitalization, pancreatitis can be easily stabilized and the underlying cause can be treated thereafter.

Pancreatitis may be caused due to various reasons:

Gall bladder stone: The pancreatic duct lies next to the bile duct. The gallstones enter the small intestine after passing through the common bile duct. Often the stones that remain in the common bile duct have a negative effect on the pancreas, which causes a hindrance to the normal flow of the pancreatic fluids, causing pancreatitis. Also, a backflow of the bile into the pancreas can cause pancreatitis.
Alcohol: Longtime alcohol use also causes pancreatitis. Alcohol can damage the pancreas tremendously causing it to get inflamed.
Other causes: Hereditary disorders in the pancreas, cystic fibrosis, high level of triglycerides and a few medicines may also cause pancreatitis.

The first symptom of pancreatitis is abdominal pain: The pain may be sudden or gradually increasing, but is usually aggravated after eating. It is severe and constant and may continue for a few days. If you are suffering from pancreatitis, you will feel very sick after a sudden attack and you might require medical assistance immediately.
Swollen abdomen: Pancreatitis may cause your abdominal area to swell up and become tender.
Nausea: If your abdomen suddenly starts paining due to the onset of pancreatitis, you tend to feel extremely nauseous. You might end up vomiting and may also have violent heaves.
Fever: The inflammation will cause you to run a temperature, along with a searing pain in your stomach, which will make you feel extremely uncomfortable.
Rapid pulse: Pancreatitis affects the rate, at which the heart beats, causing a rapid increase in the pulse rate.

Liver Disorder - How Can You Get It Fixed?
Today, with rapid changes in our lifestyle choices, a number of diseases are on the rise. Fatty liver disease and liver cirrhosis are two such disorders. Some other diseases like jaundice and hepatitis can happen when the liver does not function the way it is supposed to. The liver is the body s powerhouse and it produces fuel that keeps the other organs of the body functioning. It regulates the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and produces the bile that helps in digesting food. It also helps to maintain the glucose levels in our blood. That is why, when the liver is affected, it can lead to a number of ailments.

Some of the most common liver disorders are-

Fatty liver disorder - When too much fat builds up around the liver, they make the tissues of the liver swell up and this can cause scarring of the liver tissues or liver fibrosis. Fatty liver disorder is the outcome of poor dietary choice, obesity or alcoholism. If you do not seek treatment for this disorder as soon as possible, your liver could be damaged permanently.

Liver cirrhosis - When you consume alcohol in excess, the cells of the liver start to die and are replaced with scar tissues. These tissues do not allow blood to reach the liver and this leads to improper functioning of the organ. The damage is usually irreversible unless you start treatment in the early phases.

Homoeopathy for the treatment of liver disorders:

Homoeopathy is a holistic branch of medicines, which works on the principle of individualism.

The symptoms of a disorder differ from person to person and the medicine that suits one may not suit others. Therefore, the doctor prescribes homoeopathy only after a detailed analysis of your condition and the symptoms. For example, medicines for fatty liver aim to cure this disease by curbing symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, and fatigue. These medicines reduce the inflammation of the liver, ease nausea and vomiting, prevent bloating and help reduce weight.

Since the damage caused to the liver cells is permanent, homoeopathy cannot reverse that. Therefore, the aim of homoeopathy is to prevent further deterioration of the cells, stop more complications from arising and to ensure that the liver can retain its basic functionality. Homoeopathic medicines do not allow water to accumulate, bring relief from pain, combat loss of appetite and energize the patient.

Lastly, since the medicines are made of natural components, not only are they extremely effective, but they also do not cause any unpleasant disorders.

Liver disorders can ruin your life. However, if you take the right action at the right time and seek homoeopathic treatment you can go back to your normal lifestyle in no time.

There is no way to expel gall bladder stones (unlike the case of kidney stones). So gall stones if they are not creating the problem, let them be there. But do follow annual checkups. But if they r causing the problem, it's better to remove them.
