Hi sir iam suffering the kidney stone problem the size is 12 mm left kidney.what can i do?
If you can take kulathi kwath that is kulathi or kulath is a kind of'daal' lentils - used in many parts of contry as routine food item. Kulthi is capable of disintegrating and dissolving stones in kidney. To facilitate expulsion of disintegrated sones yav kshar and shwet parpati and little kalmi shora is taken with a lot of water / and /or aerated drinks.

Reasons Behind Prolapsed Bladder!

Reasons Behind Prolapsed Bladder!

A bladder is an organ that stores urine in the body. A prolapsed bladder occurs when the tissue present between the vagina and the bladder is stretched, resulting in a bulge in the bladder. This can result in complications such as leakage of urine and difficulty in passing the same. Based on the severity of the damage, it is classified into four categories -

  1. Mild: A small area of the bladder bulges in the vagina
  2. Moderate: The bladder bulges near the vaginal opening
  3. Severe: Protrusion of the bladder occurs through the vaginal opening
  4. Complete: The entire area of the bladder protrudes completely from the body via the opening of the vagina

The symptoms of a prolapsed bladder are:

  1. Feeling of intense pressure around the pelvic area
  2. Infections related to the bladder
  3. Pain during sexual intercourse
  4. Tissues bulging out through the vaginal opening
  5. Pain in the lower back region

Prolapsed bladder is caused by:

  1. Childbirth: It can cause ligaments and pelvic muscles to weaken thus increasing their vulnerability to a prolapsed bladder
  2. The chances of this disorder increases when one is overweight
  3. Lifting heavy things
  4. Strain caused by bowel movements
  5. In some cases, it may result from a chronic cough
  6. Menopause, as it limits production of estrogen which helps in maintaining healthy tissues in the vagina

It is advised to check with a medical professional if you experience these symptoms, as a prolapsed bladder can worsen with time if left untreated. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Urologist.

Dear Lybrate user. Just relax. Your problem is not with your penis. It may be the problem of not taking adequate amount of water. Straw yellow is the natural color of human urine. In cases of low water intake and some other disease conditions it may become more darker or more yellowish. In your case, you are otherwise OK physically. Keep taking sufficient quantity of water every day, and stop looking at the urine whenever you urinate. You will be OK soon.

I am drinking plenty of water and thereby have to urinate often. Is it bad for the kidney?

Excess of water intake is bad for the kidney. An appropriate intake of water which is usually 2litres in females & 2.5litres in males, provided their kidneys are healthy.

Urinary Problems In Men - 3 Treatment Methods

DNB (Urology), MS - General Surgery, MBBS

Urinary Problems In Men - 3 Treatment Methods

The prostate gland is a male reproductive organ at the base of the urinary bladder and urethra is a thin tube that carries urine out of the penis. It runs through the prostate gland. A fluid produced by this gland helps to carry sperms produced by the testes outside during intercourse.

Cause of urinary problems in men:

Men experience urinary symptoms either due to inflammation of the prostate gland or prostatitis or symptoms may be the result of a blockage of the passage due to enlargement of the prostate gland.

Symptoms of urinary problems:

1. The need to urinate frequently during the night.

2. Urinating more often during the day.

3. Urinary urgency is the urge to urinate can be so strong and sudden that one may not reach the toilet in time.

4. The urine stream is slow to start.

5. Urine dribbling for some time after finishing urination.

6. A sensation that the bladder is not fully emptied after urination.

7. A lack of force to the urine flow, which makes directing the stream difficult.

8. The sensation of needing to go again soon after urinating

Treatment:

1. A long course of antibacterial medication (for bacterial prostatitis) is prescribed, because infection is difficult to get rid of, the antibacterial medication will need to be taken for many weeks.

2. Medication to improve urine flow and other symptoms (for obstruction caused by an enlarged prostate).

3. Surgical procedures (for blockage caused by an enlarged prostate), such as Transurethral Resection of the prostate(TURP), Laser Resection of prostate, Transurethral Incision of the prostate(TUIP).

UroLift: A new method of treatment for men, where medication has not been successful, but their prostates are not so enlarged that they need more invasive surgery. It involves the Transurethral Insertion of staples to separate the lobes of the prostate. It has minimal side effects and preserves ejaculatory and erectile function.

A number of other procedures that have been developed to reduce urinary symptoms.

Medication for urinary problems:

1. Medications to reduce the tone of the muscles of the urethra and prostate to minimize any obstruction to urine flow caused when these muscles contract.

2. Medication to reduce the size of the prostate gland. These drugs work by blocking the action of male hormones produced by the prostate gland.

3. Medications to relax the bladder, making unwanted contractions less likely and reducing the symptoms of urgency and frequency of urination.

4. Over-the-counter medicine 'Saw Palmetto' (Serenoa repens) is used sometimes. This may help some men, especially if frequent urination at night is a problem. However, recent reviews of the evidence for using Saw Palmetto as a treatment for mild or moderate urinary symptoms did not show any improvement compared to no treatment, in men with BPH. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Urologist.

Usually iron tablet don't cause such effects. You may need to go for more tests. To identify the cause. Also you will need to give more detailed history. Without that it is not possible to state any cause of it.

No, don't get her operated it can be cured naturally, without operations/surgery or pain. With the combination of herbal and homeo medicines and following minimal of diet gall stones can be removed through motion passage. There is no way you should hurry to get her operated as its never an option for removing gall stones, it will remove gall stones but not the cause of gall stones, with the combination of herbal and homeo medicines at ssohm you can cure it naturally.
